Queen Mary University Festival

Festival of Communities May 2018 – Queen Mary University London

We participated in the QMUL Festival of communities by running various STEAM activities (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics).

Katherine McAlpine – Queen Mary University London Public Engagement Officer
“The Maintenant area always looked busy whenever I walked past, and plenty of people listed your activities as their favourite when we asked.”

Habiba – Queen Mary University London student and helper
“Working with Maintenant at the QMUL Festival of Communities really helped me develop my event planning skills. During the event, I learnt a lot about Sustainable Development through Maintenant’s activities, card games and the 7 spheres. I also learnt about the Earth Science System through their experiments and still managed to have a lot of fun. I was very pleased to see how engaged people were with the activities and enjoyed teaching them about the Atmosphere and the Cryosphere. Taking part in this event was a true pleasure.”
