Business Development and Circular Economy Consultant
As a Business Development Manager and a Circular Economy Expert at MAINTENANT, I bring value to our partners and clients by blending my experience in business with my expertise in the areas of waste management and the circular economy.
I hold a degree in Business Management from Queen Mary University of London and co-founded a start-up. Three years ago, I joined MAINTENANT as an intern to work on one of their projects. It was then that I fell in love with what they do and how they do it.
Working closely with MAINTENANT’s team sparked my commitment to the planet and to sustainability. It inspired me to start my own social enterprise and become a sustainability expert. In 2018, I co-founded a food-waste management company through the HULT Prize Competition. After winning 1st place at the regional stage, in Europe’s green capital, Oslo, I was granted the opportunity to attend the world’s number 1 social entrepreneurship accelerator.
Thanks to this journey, I was able to develop a deep understanding of waste reduction, resource efficiency and the circular economy. Latterly, I have also become a Clinton Global Initiative University Alumni, after taking part in a 1-year online programme that enables students to address some of the pressing challenges that our societies are facing. I also conduct social entrepreneurship workshops for upcoming entrepreneurs.
