CASE STUDY – PBL (Project-Based Learning) Community Initiative

Water & Life Mosaic

Outdoor mural mosaic made with recycled plastic lids

We collected more than 150000 plastic lids. These would NOT end up in the Pacific Ocean Garbage Continent. Along with Makiko, a local artist, we created an outdoor 15m2 mural mosaic made of plastic lids. As a lengthy community project, this was achieved through dedication and hard work by students and their families and school teachers.
