Impact Report 2019
Focus on higher education
Our Impact Report 2019 outlines all the progress we made last year, as well as identifying areas we are looking to target in the future. We are proud of the number of people we have been able to engage and inspire, the feedback we have had on the quality and relevance of our educational resources and content and the overall impact we are having on individuals and communities.
MAINTENANT Sustaining Now has produced its Impact Report for 2019. It showcases the innovative work it has been undertaking to increase awareness and engagement on the topic of creating more sustainable lifestyles and communities.
- A huge increase in engagement with a variety of groups, from schools to higher education institutions and general members of the public. This was achieved through collaborations with educational establishments, the creation of innovative educational games and materials, as well as participation in corporate and public events.
- Activities included presentations at school assemblies, workshops and lectures at higher education institutions, working together with STEAM ambassadors and participation in a major science exhibition in London.
- The report also shows the way MAINTENANT has worked in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure maximum impact and relevance. This has influenced the content and delivery of both educational materials and games and the many events it has been a part of.
- MAINTENANT has worked hard to adhere to the United Nations Sustainable Development Global Goals and demonstrates in the report how it has met each of the 17 target areas.
Overall, the report demonstrates the many successes MAINTENANT has enjoyed, the overwhelmingly positive feedback it has received from the wide range of people it has engaged with, as well as the potential it has to make a real, demonstrable change to bring about a more sustainable future.
