Sustainability and Creative Education Consultant
The environment and sustainability have always been very important to me. Having lived and worked in other countries, I developed a passion for different environments and cultures from quite a young age. I studied Art, Biology and Geography at A level, then Textiles at University before setting up my own wallpaper and textile company in 2006.Textiles and sustainability are very much intertwined. As my textile business has grown, so has my continued interest in taking care of our world, and teaching children and future generations the importance of sustainability. Over the past few years I have joined and continue to work with the Keep Britain Tidy LitterHero Ambassador team; my local town BID team to promote and develop Plastic Free Communities; assist running the eco group and lead small workshop sessions in KS1 at my children’s school, and run Earth Matters Group to promote sustainability locally where I live.
It has all led me to this point - working for the amazing team at MAINTENANT Sustaining Now! I am thoroughly enjoying bringing all my skills, knowledge and interests together to provide and develop educational and creative content for our learning resources. I’m really excited to see what the future holds for the team and the company!
