CASE STUDY - STEAM French bilingual Workshop
Polar Adventure
The brief was to talk about ice on Earth. We thought the best way to do so was to explore where it is abundant: the poles.
Our Polar Adventure started!
The Arctic and Antarctic discovery has been intense but so fun. We made an art project ; we experimented and compared through the study of the poles' fauna and flora ; we ended our adventure with a collective game.
The highlight of the session was a hands-on scientific experiment for every single child. We develop a protocol modelling a real-word event: the Artic ice melting quicker than the Antarctic ice.
All children were awarded a certificate, stating their name and their preferred scientific speciality which they defined during the workshop: Glaciologist, Botanist or Zoologist.
