Amell Amatino

Founding Director

For the past 20 years I have worked in different Information Technology roles and prior to that I studied Quantum Physics at University.

Throughout this time I always had a deep interest in the environment and sustainability and so when I wanted to start educating my children on these subjects I noticed a lot of the material available did not cover the background theory and science in a way they could consume.

So I invested time in creating content that they or any other school children could understand and this eventually led to MAINTENANT Sustaining Now being born.

Clotilde Baret

Publishing Director

I read modern literature and languages at university, then worked in publishing in France and the UK. I am now teaching French and English as foreign languages in London, where I have lived for 17 years.

I believe education should develop subject specific literacies (e.g. learning about Earth Science in French) and empower learners to acquire and develop transferable skills acrosss cultures and languages.

I have joined MAINTENANT Sustaining Now to develop with Amell educational games and content focusing on science literacy and environmental solutions.

Nadjet Bouayad-Agha

Head of Digital Content

I am a consultant in Natural Language Processing.

When I am not teaching computers how to understand human language, I enjoy reading about science and I run workshops on Programming. Robotics and Creative Thinking to primary school children in Barcelona, Spain, which is where I live.

When Amell told me about MAINTENANT Sustaining Now, I loved the idea to give children the scientific knowledge and perspective to understand the environmental challenges we face today and will be facing tomorrow.
